A friend just shared the beautiful truths of Psalm 121:7-8 on Facebook, so I just had to “pass it on!”

So…. I was lying there cozy under the covers (phone & Facebook in hand) debating whether or not to get up & exercise on this Saturday morning. Then I see this woman.

Easy words to say… not quite so easy to live out. Especially not when you know (or think you know) exactly where you should be at this point in your life. So, if you’re anything like me – there may have been moments where you fight like crazy to get “there” (whatever your elusive “there” may be) and rather than finding yourself “there”, you find yourself exhausted and discouraged. But then there are those moments when you finally stop trying to “make it happen” yourself and truly surrender to God. And… “Lo and behold”, the “way there” (or perhaps the way to someplace even better) opens up for you.
God’s funny like that.
